Wise in the community

Wise Investment has been operating in Chipping Norton ever since it was founded in 1992, and we firmly believe it is our responsibility to give something back to the local community that has allowed us to thrive.

School Partnership

A number of our employees at Wise are involved in supporting Chipping Norton School, facilitating work experience, and giving talks on everything from careers to day-to-day money matters. We are currently restarting the Young Enterprise scheme within the school which will encourage students to learn about business, financial services, and managing their money. Our partnership with Chipping Norton School has recently allowed us to get involved with a tree-planting project in association with The Woodland Trust. Our team has dedicated their time to go greener, we have calculated the total carbon emissions for all Wise employees and have made a contribution to the project to offset all employee carbon for 1 year.

Volunteer Days

Wise encourages every employee to support local charitable initiatives each year by providing a volunteer day which they can use to help a charity of their own choosing. Over the last year our employees have been found packing bags in Chipping Norton Co-Op to raise money for Katharine House Hospice, and setting up at the Brailes Horse Show to raise money for the village it is held in.

Local Charities

Wise is proud to support a variety of local charities through our sponsorship programme.

  • Chipping Norton Theatre – The theatre is at the heart of the creative community in the town, hosting, co-producing and supporting shows, performances, culture and education
  • Lawrence Home Nursing Team – The nursing team provides emotional and practical support to terminally ill patients who wish to spend their last days at home. The team have provided specialist care to over 560 patients
